How to remove Honda VFR seat?

I've just bought a Honda VFR 800 without a handbook. I can't see how the seat comes off, anyone help me? It's got a scott oiler and it's spurting oil everywhere...

try looking for allen screws underneath or slighty down the sides

or pull the seat forward on the sponge to reveal where screws are

might be a key right underneath the back seat under the mud guard

Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
The 1998 model has a lock (use the key) on the left side of the tail.
