I sympathise somewhat with the position the Palestinians are in - yet I think they often make the situation worse for themselves. Israel has treated the Palestinians incredibly badly - if they did not have the unilateral support of the US in their every move then they would be very harshly criticised and may well even have sanctions imposed against them. Israel had a perfectly fine country mandated to them in 1948 - yet they invaded their neighbours and continue to occupy their land to this day, and claim that they have a right to continue to stay there. This is not right.

However, I do not believe that the Palestinians are right in their indiscriminate killings of Israelis and in the kidnap of westerners. I also believe that they made a very bad decision with their choice of Hamas as a government - yet the fact there was a huge power vacuum after the death of Arafat certainly didn't help matters.

In short I believe the extremists of both sides are wrong (All land should belong to Palestine/Israel, and the others should get out of "their" country) - but Israel is the country mostly in the wrong with their continued occupation of lands not granted to them, and their continued abuse of Palestinians and flagrant ignoring of the criticisms of the rest of the world.

People who are saying Pro-Israel are obviously getting a bias view from the media in his/her country.

Im Pro-Palestine, but when I say that I dont mean wipe israel off the planet. I mean give Palestinians a piece of their holy land, not all of it, but they definately deserve their own country. They are even recognized as seperate from Israel by the United Nations.

Its terrible what the Israelis are doing to them. The ammount of Palestinans killed is roughly 10x more than Israelis killed. The Israelis mow over their homes, kill their families, so the Palestinians must retaliate.

Only reason nothing is happening, is because US and britain are backing Israel. Many of these ignorant people in the US, also just see this as ohh Muslims are terrorists and want to blow up Israel. Its holy land, why would they actually blow it up? Use common sense.

Israel massively outnumbers Palestine in military equipment and expenditures. Simply because US is backing them.

Edit:
I dont understand why you people complain about the minute ammount of soldiers and kidnappings done by Palestinians. Probably because thats the only side you ever get to hear. The Israelis are doing far far far worse. And any terrorists that are in Israel are there and using their means of warfare, simply because they cannot afford to fight back with tanks, helpicopters, etc because they are not getting money from US. This is how you protect yourself, when the other country is far superior militarily.

I think Palestine should get the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Jerusalem should have some kind of international status - probably governed by UN

Israel should keep the rest.

IT IS ISRAEL'S PROMISED LAND.
Deut 20:10-18
10 When you draw near to a town to fight against it, offer it terms of peace. 11If it accepts your terms of peace and surrenders to you, then all the people in it shall serve you in forced labour. 12If it does not submit to you peacefully, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it; 13and when the LORD your God gives it into your hand, you shall put all its males to the sword. 14You may, however, take as your booty the women, the children, livestock, and everything else in the town, all its spoil. You may enjoy the spoil of your enemies, which the LORD your God has given you. 15Thus you shall treat all the towns that are very far from you, which are not towns of the nations here. 16But as for the towns of these peoples that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, you must not let anything that breathes remain alive. 17You shall annihilate them—the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites—just as the LORD your God has commanded, 18so that they may not teach you to do all the abhorrent things that they do for their gods, and you thus sin against the LORD your God.

neither, I'm not partial to one or the other, they both need to be be treated equally and fairly, unilaterally backing one over the other is not going to help us

I am pro-democratic people. Therefore Israel. When Palestinians stop allowing the terrorists to use their territory as a lauching pad for attacks on Israel I will be more sympatheic to them. When Palestinians stop vowing to destroy Israel, I will support them. It is simply if you do not advocate another Jewish holocaust I can get on your side.
