Actually, they very rarely carry AIDS and have more regular health check ups than in most industries. It actually made the news a fear years back when a porn star actually had AIDS. Unless your talking about amateur pornography, which would probably be higher.
Aside from that, some of the woman are pretty some aren't. I'd say that I'd be more worried about drug use and all that jazz. The majority of the people come off a bit mechanically at times to me and it is quite hard to find something in which people "enjoy" their work.
As far as the sexual abuse thing goes, it might have been that way for some, but for the majority I think they found that they just enjoy the "lifestyle" or some such thing.
If they actually make money at it and manage to avoid the mountain of sleaze balls out there, good for them. Not much more one can say.

Well, it's rather slutty to be in porn. Think of it, these are girls, in relationships or not, but are having sex with different guys for no reason other than money and just enjoyment of sex and often in demeaning ways. Sure what guy doesn't like looking at porn anyways. But nonetheless, if these women choose to do it, fine with me, as long as it's all done legally and safety, their decision, and not girl's i'd want to date, just fantasize about.

I honestly feel most girls who are in porn have been sexually abused at one point in their life and have no self esteem. They run away from home and end up in these movies to make good money, but they don't get the help they need from the sexual abuse to stop them from making the movies, so they just continue making them until they burn out.

I'm a guy and personally I find no interest in watching women that get paid to have sex with men on film. To me it's the lowest form of humanity. Hut then, that's just me. Personally I prefr a warm, sweet girl..... that I can fall in love with...then do the nasty...lol.
