Cobain is the God of Grunge. My favorite besides Nirvana is definately "Hey" by the Pixies. Or anything by the Pixies. They really heavily influenced Nirvana.
Heres a list from the iTunes thing:
-Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (or course!)
-Pearl Jam "Even Flow"
-Stone Temple Pilots "Plush"
-Soundgarden "Spoonman"
-Temple of the Dog "Hunger Strike"
-Alice in Chains "Would?"
-Mudhoney "Touch Me I'm Sick"
-Screaming Trees "Nearly Lost You"
-Nirvana ""In Bloom"
-Hole "Violet"
-Pearl Jam "Alive (2004 Remix)"
-Mother Lone Bone "Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns"
-Neil Young "Song X"
-STP "Sex Type Thing"
-Soundgarden "Outshined" (Awesome Riff!)
-Nirvana "Lithium:
-Hole "Miss World"
-Alice in Chains "Man In The Box"
-Soundgarden "Rusty Cage"
-Mudhoney "Suck You Dry"
-Babes in Toyland "Handsome and Gretel"
-Bush "Everything Zen"
-Everclear "Santa Monica"
-Pearl Jam "Jeremy"
-Alice In Chains "Rooster"
This is a great list of some of the GREATEST grunge tracks. Thanks to iTunes.
