I'd say yes, but its not only religion that would make one do anything to destroy someone else's happiness.

Being treated poorly, knowing how unfair the world is in its current state, watching your loved ones die while something could've been done about it, injustice, being desperate...these are the things that would make one become a terrorist, i think.

Being strongly religious only adds up. And having other strongly religious people pushing you to do whatever they want you to do, may just be the final persuasion!
Besides, thinking there is a 'heaven' after all, is only nice, knowing you're going to kill or get killed. ;)

So, i'd say yes. Believing in something (such as a religion, or a free world for everyone, or being anti-bio industry etc.) can lead to becomming a 'terrorist'.

Its a sad fact that most religions (Christians and Islamic people in particular) know their bunch of people willing to do *anything* to achieve their goal.

No! individuals who are hellbent on changing someone elses beleifs are.Every religion and non religion sect has had an issue of power,to step in Gods shoes so to speak, and try to cram beleifs down someone elses throat, when actually religion is a choice of belief, and if that choice brings harm, then your consequences come, sooner or later. If there were no religions of any kind, politics would be the next closest thing, and so on and so on

In a broader view ideology plays a role in making people into terrorists whether it be religion or political ideologies such as nationalism. Any ideology that puts it's ends above (or against) human lives can make a "normal" person (whatever that is) into a terrorist.

I would have to say it can, but not necessarily. There have been and are atrocities committed in the name of religion. (And, yes, Christians are guilty too...the crusades, and witch hunts to name a couple of times.)
However, I don't believe the Unabomber was moved by religion to send bombs. I don't believe Timothy McVey (Oklahoma City )was moved by religious motives. I believe that it has to be a cause that is deeply believed in...as in anti government, anti a certain college etc but I don't think it has to be because of religion. Those who "go postal" in workplaces aren't doing it for religious purposes, nor are all the school shootings but I would call the people who commit these crimes terrorists.

Its not the religion which make people turn terrorists, its the so called interpreters or scholars or preachers or leaders.

People who teach bad things in the name of religion, these people manipulate teachings of religion for their own cause.

Any religion on this earth is Good but the people who propagate are wrong, got it.

we can't say that it entirely plays a role.but it does.as Lenin said "religion is like abin" which can make a human to be an animal ie terrorist....as the human in early ages of development, started fearing for nature....this turned to be the concept of god.so believing something should be put under rational thinking....

No, it doesn't.
those terrorist don't really believe in their religion they are just using it as an excuse.
ex. Islam doesn't teach people to hate and go kill every1 else.. but those people are using it as an excuse.. Islam teaches people to be a good person, don't hurt, kill anyone. not like what those people say Islam is.

Yes, but terrorist view of their religion is warped, they are brainwashed and the way they percieve their religion is skewed. Islam does not teach people to kill other people.
