~~~ Good luck F.T. I've been trying to quit since March. I won't use the patch or pills because I don't use any drugs now except asprin. These awful cigarettes are my biggest vice now. I actually quit cold turkey several times for two or three days at a time. Unfortunately that approach wasn't working as I got very angry at the world in general. Don't know why, BUTT!! I wanted to ......well it wasn't nice. LOL! Anyway, I'm smoking less and less cigetettes each day, and I make myself smoke them outside only. The more inconvenient it is,the less I want to smoke. And, believe this or not,BUTT!! it's true. I have found that listening to Reggae music drastically reduces my feelings of anger. I recommend you giving it a try. Seriously, the sweet vibes will move your heart and calm you down. Good luck. ~~~
iam a addict, its hard to quit smoking best way is pick a day on your calander on that day quit, throqw away ashtrays do a no smoking in the house rule, take it one day at a time and when you find your self stressed with a cigg. between your lips think of what is pissing you off and tare that ciggerate up, dont you lite it. after a week count the days and tell your self well i havent smoked in so many days why ruin my success, after 21 days you addiction is over now it is all in your head. good luck
Everyone that I know that has been successful at quiting smokeing quit cold turkey. You have free will do not ever let someone tell you it is hard because then it will be harder for you to quit.
