Take it as it comes, sometimes you can't be prepared in advance. You may not get a warning or a notice of it.

Bit of both really. I do like to be prepared and organised but then something will happen on the spur of the moment and i enjoy the excitement of that

Depends
Some things I like to be prepared for, others are as it comes.
I like to prepare for things like holidays, but when I proposed to my fiancee it was completely off the cuff (so off the cuff she still hasn't got a ring yet)
