CCleaner combines a system cleaner that removes unused and temporary files from your system and also a fully featured registry cleaner!

Then after that delele your current WinXP account and then open a fresh new one.
Go to "Start > Contorl Panel > Users Account" when you go there, delete your accounts and then one a new one.

Try this, it will clean up your history located in your browser and in the Windows folders.

Go to http://www.download.com

Search for and download and install CCleaner.

Once you have it installed, just launch the program, click on Analyze and when it's done that, click on Run Cleaner.

If you really want to purge your hard drive so that it is totally clean, let me know and I'll point you to some free software that will do that job for you.

If you need any additional info/help you can email me. Just click on my name.

Hope this helps.
