Actually, you should eat pretty soon after arising to jump start your metabolism. Breakfast is just what it says. You are breaking the "fast" you were in while you slept. Good question, though.

I don't think so because I get up at like 9:00 and I don't eat until like 12:00 or later and i consider that to be my breakfast and my lunch combined into one so I don't miss either one of them!
