1. She has the money
2. She has the backing of many DNC party faithful
3. She has significant grassroots support.

I mean, a lot of people said Bush wouldn't win in 2000, but he somehow did. People said Hillary wouldn't win in the Senate in 2000, but she did.

You have in every poll saying at least 45% would vote for her now.

Okay, some argue..well, the GOP will bring up alot of baggage on Hillary that people won't want to vote for her.

Do you think she's not capable of bringing up baggage on Guliani (cross dressing pics), or McCain?

The point is, those who think she won't win are severely underestimating her.

She will win, whether you or I think she should or not.

Really..all she has to do is ask during the Presidential debates "Are you better off than you were 8 years ago?"

Because they don't want her to they will put out negativity hoping someone will listen. I have great respect for her. She set her eye on the ball and hasn't lost focus yet. Only time will tell what will become of her campaign. I think she will win too,

To start with, will she be in the Presidential race? she is
currently under indictment for an alleged felony for illegal
campaign contributions, there is evidence that she was
fully aware of this.

Hillary has more than baggage, remember her involvement
in travelgate while Bill was president and she is playing the
universal health care issues again that failed miserably while
she was the First Lady.

EDIT: To Elway to Cat
I at least posted a link to back up my claims, you call
me a liar and offer no such proof. Give me a clue as
to why I should believe YOU over anyone else.

Note to Asker, I am much better off than I was 8 years ago,
I didn't have a 6 figure salary then and have been well
over that the past 5 years.

Her electability will be determined by the outcome of the
indictment, if that is not settled by the time of the elections
she will probably be impeached if she is elected.

Yeah, and 55% of people polled think polls are ridiculous and not for good use of statistical facts. I made that number up, see?

The biggest thing that makes polls not factual is that the majority don't even remember being asked. I keep seeing these strange percentages leaning towards democratic favor, but I was never polled. Coincidence? I doubt it. Of course if you ask everyone in San Francisco or NYC if they like a Democrat, it's going to come out higher.

Besides, Hillary won't even get the Democratic nomination, let alone get near the WH house again to steal more china. They aren't that stupid, because to nominate Hillary means to give away presidential seat to another Republican. Most Democratic voters I know think she's a lunatic that will drive our quality of life into a third world country with high taxes and socialism. If she can't even get most of her own party to back her (the average American democrat voter mind you, not the rich people paying for her campaign), she's definitely not swaying any red party or fence straddler votes.

Besides, she can't even decide what she thinks about anything. It changes every hour. That's why I truly believe that anyone who gung-ho about voting for her is doing so simply because she's a woman, and not because they believe she'll do a good job.

She has a very good chance of winning. Her husband runs the democratic party and he owes her big time! Her main obstacle will be in destroying the support that Barack Obama has and in defending her votes supporting the war.

All I can say is heaven help us if she wins!! Say what you want about Bush but the economy has never been better and we havn't been attacked since 9/11. With a democrat in the White House and a democrat controlled Congress, I don't thing that will continue, but I guess we shall see.

I never underestimate Hillary and I never will. It's hard to deny that she is a potential from becoming the next US president. That's why I think it will be quite unsurprising by the fact if she won the 2008 election due to her encouragement and remarkable accomplishment in political role.

I'm glad that you feel that way but couldn't disagree with you more.

Other than becoming complete Socialists, what is she offering to this country? Socialism doesn't work and creates even more dependency on our government, something that I believe more people want to get away from. As a result, don't think for two seconds that Hillary doesn't have the fight of her life ahead of her!

Job wise, what does she have to offer? This is one that certainly intrigues me. She's getting the corporate money, that's for sure. But I must ask, do people REALLY think that she's going to keep jobs here? That she's going to heavily tax that 1% or 2% for redistribution to the 'poor folk'? Would corporations really back her if they knew that she has plans to slice their own throats? Puleeeeeeeeeze! hahahaha!

Wake up people! :)

Hillary Clinton has an excellent shot at being our next President. Those who constantly say she has no chance are likely hoping if they say it enough times it will magically come true. You are right, they severely underestimate her. But then right now all they have is their hate and fear of the Democrats, the President has trashed the Republican Party and almost single-handedly assued them a loss in '08.

Excellent answer noils, very perceptive of you, and oh so correct.

See how people lie about her? "justgetitright" is full of it, she is not under indictment. This one gets that from a World Net Daily (Whirled Nuts Daily) character assassination piece and morphs it into an indictment. Please.

It's not what she has that is the real kicker here. She is a woman and that alone makes her unelectable to a lot of voters. I think with the election in 2008 people are going to do more research and they are going to look at candidates a little differently. America can't take another poor president if they want to remain the superpower they are!

At first, I didn't see her winning the race. Now as I see how is all progressing I think Clinton is going to win the presidency.
