This question is for the perceptive. I would really apprecitate it if one takes the time out to give an insightful response.
Take into consideration:
The 8th Amendment
Atkins v. Virginia
Lee Malvo (Beltway Sniper)

that would depend on how young this juvenile is. I think if you are talking about someone who is 13 and up they are old enough to know right from wrong and the are old enough for the punishment.

the sole argument i could think of of as to not bringing lower back the dying penalty(and it incredibly is a substantial one) is the certainty that if a individual is relatively harmless then it incredibly is impossible to sparkling them as they are needless to say already lifeless. If the officers et al would have the certainty that they are one hundred according to cent superb of their conviction then particular the dying penalty is in all probability a competent thought for homicide, rape and sexual oriented crimes against infants, although there have been many situations whilst a individual has been sent to reformatory and then released w/o fee, think of if he had have been carried out! with the point to be on the risk-free area i think of no the dying penalty should not be reintroduced. If our prisons are finished up thats the administrative.. subject, they could construct extra prisons. Alex

Yes. If they are old enough to take a life, they are old enough to suffer the full consequences for their chosen actions. As for "rehabilitating" them - what second chance does the victim get? NONE! And they get no choice in being the victim. So, why should the person that CHOSE to do the crime get another chance?

No....unconstitutional. Minors have limited privileges and thus deserve corresponding protections. From a philosophical standpoint, what would allowing minors to be subject to the death penalty say about our society's notion of the possibility of rehabilitation??
