A licensed hypnotist. They're not necessarily doctors. And bad ones can do a lot of damage. There was a case in Detroit several years ago where a hypnotist put a teenage girl in a very deep trance and then couldn't bring her out!
You don't need a hypnotist anyway, just a professional therapist, like a psychologist or a psychiatrist. In your case you need a therapist who specializes in working with rape victims. Your family doctor can refer you or your county medical board. Good luck, honey.

it is a hypnotherapist
please dont go to one i went to one and i ended up getting panic attacks, paranoia phobias, depression this was three years ago now i have to see a psychiatrist (brain doctor) once every two weeks now and i am on lots of different medication
please dont do it i dont want you to ruin your life like what happened to me
it sounds like you should go and get some councelling
if their is a specific problem for example abuse, rape or poor parenting try the phone book you can probably find a councelling service in their that is free
if you went to the doctor and explained your problem he can refur you to the right sort of councelling then if you do need hypnotherapy then they can refer you to that if need be
that way because you went through your doctor the people who you get refered to will be properly trained and recognised, please dont make my mistake and go for a hypnotherapist in a book as you can not trust people who can do things to the mind basically for money
PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY ABOUT THIS
good luck in the future

Instead of trying a magic cure. Just go to a regular therapist for "talk therapy" You don't need to be "asleep" to feel better about yourself and your past, present and future.Seek out your local metal health clinic.
