Has anyone else ever noticed that on made for tv drama movies whenever a family befriend's a developmentally challenged person, that person will always wind up saving the day in the end?

It's ridiculous, really, there are 3 things I know for sure when I watch a movie-

If someone coughs, they're dying.
The black guy always dies first.
And the retarded person will save the day.

True.
And the guy who is involved in a love triangle with people he works with will get into a fight with the opposing guy at another co-worker's wedding (to another co-worker) and then will get hit by a bus, have his legs amputated, and have a falling out with the woman he loves, after telling her that the reason he got hit was BECAUSE he got her voicemail while crossing the street.
(And everybody blaims it on the girl who he loves because SHE sent him the message, although TECHNICALLY it's HIS fault for being stupid enough to check messages while crossing a street.)
All of this highly depressing because the hot actor might not be back next season, because he moved away.

That's funny...maybe if the black guy would run into a store or a gas station instead of always headin' for the woods, he would have a fighting chance...unless he finds a guy with down syndrome in the woods...then he'll be okay.

Dang...What's Freddy's problem?

hi,
you know that is some what true, but i have seen some movies that the cough doesn't mean death for that person, where the black guy doesn't die first(anaconda ice-t lives)and in the first Texas change saw masque leather face is retarded. even though you are right to some extent there are some movies where it doesn't hold true.
