just had to re torque my head on my 750 triumph 73 model will this change the valve lash? wont this tighten the lash up also? do i ned to adjust them now,,6thou on the exhaust and 8 on the intake?

I would check the adjustment anyways, just to be safe.
What's it take to check? 10 minutes?
Just remember, the motor needs to be stone cold when you check it, like before you fire it up for the day.

Whenever I've done top end work, I always check the valve adjustment to be on the safe side. As long as everything is open, why not adjust them, is my thinking.
I'm not familiar with Triumph engines.
If it has an overhead cam, re-torquing the head will have no affect on the valve lash.
If it has push rods, then the valve lash will be affected and should be adjusted.
