i love someone very much but there is a age difference. my family says dump him but i cant. what should i do go with my heart or listen to the family?i need nonjudgmental answers.

Keep in mind your family only has the best interests in heart. They don't want to see you get hurt.
But it depends on many things-how long have you been going out, what is the age difference, lots of things.
I would try to convince my family that it's only age, and that he's not some stupid drunk wife beater. Follow your heart; it's the only way to be happy.

Age is just a number, if you are happy with him and he with you then the age shouldn't matter! Happiness is what really matters, so if you are happy then be with him and don't worry about your family. A lot of younger guy's like older woman and a lot of older men like younger woman so either way it really doesn't matter just be happy!

Depends on if you are under 18 or not. If not, they really can't tell you, either way. Is it the age, or is he married? If it is just the age, and he's not married, and you are legally an adult, it's on you.

i love a girl who is a little younger than me.i had the problem with the age thing but she persuaded me not to have a problem.go with your heart.thats wot im doing.& there are over ten years between us but she is happy with it,so then,so am i.

you are both adults and when the real love comes along, it's the most wonderful feeling, and your parents should understand that from experience. I'm not telling you to outright defy your parents, but maybe, you both should sit with your parents and tell them how you feel, they might see in him that you do.
