There are many issues that have to be checked before you even proceed for any court proceedings in your marriage. First one is the validity of the marriage itself. You say you being an Indian & most probably an Hindu by religion married A British lady in India, what was her religion at the time of marriage, was she also a Hindu by religion, if not did she convert to Hindu religion ? What was the form of marriage you got married to her, was is solemnized by Hindu customs & rites by a Hindu Priest or it was solemnized before the Marriage Officer/registrar under the Special Marriage Act,1954 or the Foreign Marriage Act,1969 ? The very fact if you being a Hindu married this British lady not being Hindu by religion at the time of marriage nor she converted to it before the said Hindu marriage, then such a Hindu marriage between you two itself is invalid or void abnito, meaning there exist no legal marriage between you two from the very beginning itself, if such is the position then forget about moving any court for dissolution of such a marriage just pack your baggage & return back to India leaving her there itself, she has no claim on you as a legal wife, but if she happens be having legal rights of a wife as your marriage was legal & valid then think 100 times before you move the court for dissolution of this marriage as very correctly pointed out by one reader here the amount of Alimony she will be claiming will be a fortune for her & bankruptcy for you. Since you got married in India you can claim dissolution of marriage in Indian courts itself on any of the given grounds available to you under the enactment you got married. Such dissolution of marriage can be prayed only after one year of such a marriage which I think is over for your case. Rest write to me directly with details I pointed out above for any clarification.

It seems like you are simply suffered from homesickness. You are probably missing your own family and hometown so badly now. I've been living in places away from my home country for a certain period of time, so I think I can understand how hard it is. London is a very big city and maybe everything seems so different from your hometown. Allow yourself a little more time to adjust to new environment. As you get used to new place and its people, you would get used to the way your British wife behaves and thinks. Talk to her honestly about how you feel, and try to get her support. Remember you can always file a divorce. So just stop for a moment and give it a try. Good luck.

You must consult a good divorce lawyer - British or Indian - to file a case of unilateral divorce on your behalf.

First of all, stop referring to yourself as a boy and learn how to spell. Second, if you feel as though you've married the wrong person, then file for a divorce. The fact that it's your wife's second marriage is her issue, not yours. Thirdly (or should that have been firstly?) grow up. Irregardless of your nationality, you (a man) married a woman.

Indian males are fond of white skinned girls. It is their way to celebritydom. Gandhi, Subhas Bose. Arobindo, Nehru, Rajiv, Raja Rammohan, Rabindranath, Vivekananda, all had wooed and had sex with white girls, and Indian made them celebrities for that feat. You scoundrel followed their footsteps, and had not asked us then as you were thinking you are in cloud nine. Now face the consequences and let us have some peace.

You should talk to a lawyer about this or try to get some marriage counselling, otherwise this marriage won't work, if she doesn't want a divorce, then you two should separate.

How about instead of divorcing you go to counseling and work out your issues?
