No. She is a spoiled brat, and I don't think she will ever stop thinking the rules don't apply to her.

No, I don't think that Paris Hilton will learn her lesson. She has never had to be personally responsible before and I think that this won't teach her any self-responsibility either.

She doesn't even understand how easily she has gotten off. And the attorney that has, has clearly not made this evident to her either.

It isn't like she is in jail for her first offense. Since September she has been cited for DUI 2 X's and cited for Driving with a suspended license 3X's.

According to California law she could have been charged with a felony at the fourth offense.

The judge could have given her:
License revocation - not suspension for 4 years, and even after the revocation she would have had to attend a 30 month long alcohol treatment program before qualifying for a license again.

He could have given her a minimum of 120 days in jail or up to a maximum of 16 months in jail. One more DUI and she qualifies for up to 3 years in jail.

And of course with a felony conviction she would have lost her right to vote and several rights.

She isn't going to learn anything from this, it was clear yesterday that she still did not understand that she is not above the law.

No, this is probably the first time in her life she has ever been held accountable for anything in her entire life. After she is released she will be back to business as usual. She seems to believe she has a sense of entitlement and deserves to be treated differently than everyone else in the world. Just my opinion. God bless****

I don't think she will get the chance, cuz, the minute she gets out, she will be swamped by news-people and "fans", which, highly likely, will strengthen her in her believe she's something special, with different needs than just ordinary people.
Sad, isn't it? (would have helped had her parents brought her up with a sense of what goes on in the "real" world, and taught her to appreciate it)

BTW, you managed to slip in TWO typo's in Paris Hilton's name, quite an achievement, LOL.

Let's hope so, but don't hold your breath.
The upper crust society doesn't believe in equality--they make their own laws, securely smug that they can hire lawyers to get them off. Forty-five days is nothing to what the real sentence should be for a third offense at impaired driving. My nephew had two jail terms and his licence been suspended for five years.

NO. I think Paris will learn that envy can kill and that people hate rich and beautiful people who seem to enjoy their lives.
If she comes out of there psychologically damaged (which I think she will) then the law suit will outlive her. People just can't stand a beautiful rich woman who is "spoiled" and that's what I hate rotting inside of those kinds of people.

It's doubtful. When you have that much money and have been allowed to whatever you want your whole life, it's going to take more than a short stint in the local jail to change someone.

You can not put brains into a statue, nor give an oil painting a lesson in live.
