250 songs isn't much at all. Considering my computer takes only minutes to BURN a cd, that alone shouldn't take but minutes. Just plug it in and go.

Depends on how fast your computer is. If its somewhat fast when running iTunes, then syncing should only take about 10-20 minutes for 250 songs, but if iTunes runs slow on your computer, then it could take up to 45-60 minutes. It also depends on how long your songs are. I'd give yourself 45 minutes to an hour of free time to do this.

If you have USB 2.0 ports or Firewire you're looking at maybe 5-7 min or less. This also depends on the specs of your PC.
If you have USB 1.0 ports then anywhere from 15-20 min.
This is just an estimate based on my experiences with my and my bro's Ipods.

you would be unable to sync something into any form of iPod till you're utilising iTunes...and as to your question approximately in case you would be able to desire to do something different than including songs to iTunes..you will would desire to click on the syncs icon..yet that relies upon on your settings besides

If they are already on the iTunes library it should onlt take about 15-20 minutes.

as lonG AS IT TAKES..........i have 4032 song and it took me 2.5 hours to put in onto my ipod video!!!!!! and hav a brand new comp!!!
