I have a rainbow colored Coach purse that is in need of repairs. I bought it on eBay about a year ago, and it was pre-used. The woman who sold it to me had pictures of the straps looking "chewed", and I decided that wasn't enough for me not to buy the purse. As I have used it, more and more of the leather of the sides of the straps has peeled off. I used clear nail polish at one point to try to keep it from continuing to peel, but it didn't work. What do I need to do to save my straps? What would I need to do to get new ones? I've already taken the purse to a shoe repair shop that also does purses, and they said they would be unable to fix it. Help is appreciated!

The purse is a genuine. The tags are there and everything.

If its a "real" Coach and not a bootleg, you can send it to the factory for $20 and they'll repair it and return it to you.

ok u should probably get new straps. either look on ebay, or if u have another Coach purse, use the straps from that one. or just buy a new purse.
