Seeking alternatives for conceiving.?

After much discussion, my best friend (who happens to be gay) and I have decided to have a child. Which would be the best and safest alternative method for conceiving other than natural.

The safest method would be to go to a fertility doctor or clinic. They will run a few tests on you both and then when you are ovulating they will have him ejaculate into a cup, wash his sperm, and insert it with a catheter into your uterus. This is called intrauterine insemination, IUI, or sometimes it's called artifical insemination, AI.
If you don't want to go the dr route then it is possible to get pregnant at home without having intercourse. Buy a pack of Instead cups, you can get them at wal-mart or just about anywhere, they are with the pads and tampons. Track your cycles and figure out when you are nearing ovulation. The day before and day of ovulation have him ejaculate into the Instead cup. Insert the cup into your vagina so that it's completely covering the cervix--the cervix will be sitting in a pool of semen. Leave it in for 8-12 hours. Do it again the day of ovulation.
Both methods, if done correctly, have about the same success rate--20% per cycle.
Also, before EITHER method you will both need to be tested for HIV and STD's.
There is also the matter of legal issues--you will need to work everything out before getting pregnant and have a lawyer draw up papers and both of you sign them.

You may need to consider this and think more about your decision, its not just about having a child this child needs a home a father, a mother and a suitable normal surrounding...What if your friend fall in love with some other guy and decided to move away with him!! What will you tell your child....

why u doing that? do u love that person or u just doing it to have a baby....................then that's weired, not because he is gay, no, because doesn't looks like u in love with each other.
