Why would she agree to do it if she is reluctant to go to the studio? Look, here's the reality of modeling nude... and pay attention: *It's not the model who should be concerned!* Let's be realistic for a second... let's think logically, instead of being paranoid... You have a name. You know this guy is an artist, because he's in art school. You've got his name. You've got an address. You should, (I hope) have a phone number. If something were to happen, you give this information straight to the authorities and this guy gets arrested! Now, here's a little detail you maybe haven't considered.... If you lie... if nothing happens, but you lie to the authorities and say he was inappropriate, he *STILL* gets arrested. Meanwhile, what does he have? In most cases, the artist (or photographer) has only a first name... often a (fake) stage name! He's probably got equipment, much of which is expensive, sitting at that address all the time. You're safe to assume he's there alone, so if you went there with a handful of big guys and a van, you could beat him up or kill him, and steal all his stuff, and nobody would ever know who did it. Bottom line: You two have nothing to fear. HE'S the one who's putting himself at risk. If she's afraid, tell her to get a name, number, and address, and write it down, and leave it by the phone before she goes... And she can tell the guy she needs to call home once per hour to check in so you won't worry. Trust me, he'll happily comply, and she'll be perfectly safe. But asking him to do it at your house is inappropriate. Likewise, inviting yourself along as an escort is equally inappropriate.

I think people would pose nude for a painting, but not a photo, because the photo will show all of their little flaws. But the artist painting them can skip the flaws, and people also will realize that it is just a painting, and may have been altered. I would never pose for either.

I posed nude for a painting when I was married to my first husband years ago , it was a present for him and it was beautiful.
I think there is a difference when it comes to a camera, those seem a little tacky to me. a painting is a work of art and nothing but the beauty of the art comes to mind♥

I have done both, and a third which is posing for a figure drawing artist. The drawing and or the painting is the artists intepretation of what he or she sees so when you don't have the perfect body it's more forgiving. I like posing for drawing the best the poses or gestures are only 3 to 10 minutes. painting is hours.

A painting is a likeness and considered art but a photo is the real thing and can be duplicated many many times

Because for a painting it is more considered as an art than a photo, I think.

Find a friend who is also an artist and that will understand the artist's necessity for anatomy. tell him that he can help with the design and set up so that it will look cool. make him feel comfortable. i always thought that it was harder to get a female to pose because there's obvious sexual tension there. but man to man, as long as he's comfortable with his body and understands art, then u should be fine.
so try to find a fellow artist.

It's easy to photoshop a picture but not a painting and Brunettebeauty, you better hope you two don't break up....because if you do, you're going to be the laughing stock of the town.
