Yes. You better do it soon, before she arranges a marriage for you. She may be upset, but she is your mom. Break it to her gently. Good luck!

My mom still points out guys to me, and I've already told her I'm gay. I guess the fact that I don't bring girls around her makes her think it's "a phase" or something. I wouldn't crush her like that. Just do it gently when you feel it's time. Don't do it out of anger, you'll regret that.

Why not, if you feel it's the right time for you to do that. I know from experience that your mom will probably take it quite hard, or otherwise she will tell you it's just a phase your going through, or she might even say that she knew all along. If she loves you it won't matter to her what you are because you are her son and that's all that counts. Good luck

Is your mom accepting of gay people and the gay community. If yes just tell her your gay. If not wait till after high school if you are in high school.

Definitely. Some people just can't interpret "hints." A slap in the face with a bag of wet cement is the only thing they understand.

It all really depends on how she takes the news. If she's any bit homophobic, it might be a bad move to tell her. But are you really gay? It isn't good to lie about things like that.

You don't mention your age, but I knew when I was five that I was gay. Lets face it, you will have to tell her SOMEDAY. I waited until I was 29 to tell mine. She said, "I knew that before you started school !" IF she really is your mother and really LOVES you, it will make no difference whatsoever. Otherwise, just duck ! FOOTNOTE.........MOST WOMEN WISH THEY HAD A GAY SON. My mother's friends were so jealous of her and said so !
