Normally I would say, "live and let live" but when it affects kids that where it's got to stop. I heard that there hasn't been proof that Mr. Jeffs did what he was accused of so I am not sure if that alone will pull Romney out of the election.

Yes, Romney is a Mormon. On the other hand Warren Jeff's is the head of a break away branch of LDS. There is no connection. Jeffs has a group in British Columbia, Canada, which is under investigation by the RCMP. I'm neither Mormon and certainly not Republican. If this is meant to be a political shot, it's one of the cheapest I've seen in a long time. If not than pay closer attention to what you are watching on CNN. Cooper is exposing Jeff's break away sect, not Mormons. BIG DIFFERENCE. I'm Canadian and an atheist, so my only interest in responding is to bring out the truth.

The FLDS are NOT MORMONS. They have NOTHING to do with the Mormons. The temples that we Mormons go to have NOTHING to do with the FLDS. We don't recognize Warren Jeffs as anything but a law breaker. Mitt Romney wouldn't soil his hands on Warren Jeffs.
For you to EVEN say, to even SUGGEST, that the Mormons, or The Church of JESUS CHRISTof Latter-day Saints, headquartered in Salt Lake City and headed by GORDON B. HINCKLEY, and which MITT ROMNEY is a member, has anything to do with the FLDS or any crimes they may commit, is either gross stupidity, or slanderous lying.
Joseph Smith would be rolling in his grave to think that Warren Jeffs' name would be mentioned in the same breath as his own.

Warren jeffs is a member of the a group that broke away from the Mormon religion and created his own sect so they could practice polygamy. Polygymay is no longer an accepted practice of the Mormon religion. Warren jeffs is not recognized by the leadership of the Mormon church (LDS). Why would a candidate get disqualifed for practicing a religion?

Warren Jeffs is not a member of the Mormon Church (Church of the Latter Day Saints, as Mitt Romney is. Jeffs' "church" does not follow Mormon beliefs.
It borders on slander even to suggest that Romney is associated with this heretical and immoral organization, which advocates illegal and abusive practices.
I am not a Mormon and do not agree with their theology. But the Mormon Church is known for its decent family values; everybody knows that.

The ONLY thing you got right in your question is that Mitt Romney is a Mormon. Equating Warren Jeffs to traditional Mormonism is like comparing David Koresh to traditional Christianity. You can CLAIM to be of any religion, but your adherence to the ACCEPTED precepts of the religion is what will determine your true beliefs.

Warren Jeffs is not any kind of leader in the Mormon Church. He is part of a fanatic group that is not associated in anyway with the same church as Mitt Romney.
Mormons don't practice polygamy. Their leader is Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley, and he's a sweet, kindly man who gives a great interview (with Mike Wallace, Larry King, others).

Warren Jeffs is not the leader of the Mormon church. He was never a member of the Mormon church. He is the leader of a group that splintered off when his dad was in charge that goes by the deceptive name of FLDS.
Romney is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). The President and leader is Gordon B. Hinckley.

He ran some polygamist cult that splintered off from the mainstream Mormon church and has been denounced by them. Jeez man!
