Amazing! Another that has met EVERY CONSERVATIVE in the world!! How did you have time? And the energy? And the money? Did you have to go to morgues? Funeral homes? Hospitals? Orphanages? Wow! Fantastic. How did you know that you didn't miss some? That others hadn't changed their minds since your original interview?
I am an independent and I am in constant awe of people in this highly-educated country that come up with a statement that starts with "Conservatives", "Christians", "Liberals" and proceeds to slander every member of that grouping without a shred of evidence or discussion. Awesome.

This is the kind of thinking that gets people killed.
If we ran into eachother on the street, sat down and had lunch, talked about life, I bet you ten to nothing we'd leave thinking the other was a decent human being.
I highly doubt that we'd part saying "goddamn conservative trying to fill my ears with lies, I hate that biotch." or "I'd like to knife that friggin gay pride liberal."
So many times we forget that at the root of all of this are people, with whom we have more in common with than not. While our ideals are opposite, our purpose is the same. Live for truth, live well, and be happy. We just have different ideas of getting there.
So save it for the election booth.

I don't agree with partisan bias. Both parties have their fair share of liars and both have their fair share of valid points, even though they are on opposite sides of the spectrum.
For me, after the republicans have been in power for 8 years, we are in dire need of democrats again. The same is true in the opposite direction to balance things between the people and corporations, etc.
Our current administration has completely confused partisan politics. They are in a freaky league of their own.

Now...I don't know Travis, so I can't really state that as a fact, just a generalized hateful presumptuos response, because I don't know him. Absolutely not. In fact if someone is truly a conservative the truth is the cornerstone. There are many liars but if they profess to be conservatives I beg to differ. You may disagree with us, we may interpret things differently but deliberately mislead? It just isn't necessary if you are a conservative.
