The pros are all rather obvious: people don't get killed in wars, we don't have to spend all that money on weapons, etc. The only con I can think of is that when people say Peace at Any Price, I get a little scared. I am reminded of the Pax Romana: the peace of the Roman empire. Basically, surrender to the people who threaten you and you will have peace. The peace of slavery, but peace.
Oh, and one other thing: if we really did have a sustained period of world peace, we might grow complacent, and be unprepared should a new situation arise (a mutant? space monsters? an evil conspiracy?).

World peace means peace between nations right? Well if that's the case then I can't think of a single con, maybe a con would be if someone gets out of line other countries may be afraid to stop them, you know, because that would mean breaking the peace.

World Peace is not possible, cons would be an unbalanced world everyone would be shmoozy shmoozy like the flanders and there would be no horror movies.

There's a con to world peace? Umm, weapons manufacturer's would have to find another product....???
pro: advancement of society, economic stability, medical and scientific advancements...environmental focus...educational focus, the preservation of Life...
