Things seem to go wrong as you have developed a tendency to invoke negative thoughts all the time. The impact of the negative thoughts... you are drained out of the vital energy that keeps life going! To get out of the rut of negative thinking... you have to become an optimist in life! The glass is always half full... you only perceive it half empty!

In the domain of God... there is no dearth for anything... yet, you think you are a poor man... unable to do anything! Practicing patience, persistence and perseverance is the biggest mantra for invoking positive thoughts from the reservoir of mind plus. We are the born directors of our life... the masters of our destiny! We only need to realize this vital truth!

Dwelling in negative thoughts will lead nowhere! Seek company of people who inculcate in you habits of positive thinking. You must have a goal in life... something indulging in which... you lose track of time! Something you love from your heart... a passion that would turn a king out of a commoner. Indulge in that passion... in that profession... in that career which you dearly love from your heart. Only then you can pursue a life full of positive thoughts!

Never fear criticism of any kind... the form of human beings is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle. It is only as a human being one gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha). Never from heaven or hell can a soul gain entry into the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism). Every soul from heaven or hell returns to mother earth to reach the stage of enlightenment and salvation.

Whatever is your goal of life... never fear anything! Pursue that goal with bulldog determination of Winston Churchill. Keep all your eggs in one basket and pursue the goal of life like hell. Nothing on Mother Earth shall stop you from achieving your goal! Never forget... you have a soul atman residing within your heart! This soul atman is God Almighty in minuscule form.

Traveling the path of absolute truthfulness... one can hear the sweet small inner voice of our soul atman within. This voice of our soul atman always guides us on the right path. God is always with you. Do not fear how many times you have to eat hell for breakfast. Success is not a matter of days... it takes years before we succeed in life. Do we have any other alternative? You're at a point when you think that everything you do won't matter, because at the end, it'll just mean nothing. Apathy seems to be what you're in at the moment. You should realize that whatever you do now affects the future ahead of you, and being unproductive and pessimistic right now will change your future negatively. I don't believe that everything in your life is going wrong, and that you have some control over it, so if you used that control and tried something, you might get a good thing at the end. Be more positive.

i like some of these answers, the ones about rest up.With this in mind here's my story.
There were only two of us in my college class studying Ancient greek philosophy. After a short time, the girl didnt
turn up,so i asked the lecturer where was she;he replied that
she was sick,"with some sort of debilitating illness that left
her tired and weak";he didnt name it and i didnt ask what it
was. After a few weeks, she came back. I was doing a
lot of work at this time, but was glad to see her back,if only
to get another classmates view on what was being taught.
It was my last year and was determined to put in the effort of
the previous ones. Then, almost suddenly,i started to have
problems writing essays, even short ones. And the more i tried, the less came out,so to speak!
The mental effort started to effect me physically, too; it was
as if my body was shutting-down,and with each (normal)
exertion of mine, it "lost" energy.
Well, what with doctor's and other's advice still fresh in the
memory,i was forced to leave my Greek class, and the sole
lecturer and my classmate to themselves, just that had happened earlier to another! The physical symptoms of this illness were so
severe-the result was my withdrawel from the course.
But my health did return, after many months of what i would
call recuperation. As the doctors could find nothing wrong,
remembering back now, i had not only lost weight but almost
lost the will to carry on. A sunshine vacation did the trick, but
i guess giving up my beloved college studies was my
way back to health.
Hope this helps.

Try to look for the things in your life that are not going wrong. To say that everything in your life is going wrong is not really fair to yourself honestly. And you had the energy to ask for help and thats alot. I would suggest you ask for help from your family and friends next.

Let go. Stop 'resisting the world.' Stop trying for a few days and let reality resolve itself according to your 'lack of energy.' The defensive ego often runs us into a brick wall before we understand we cannot continue the pattern.

Interesting. Why don't you make all the things that were going wrong in your life the things that you aspire for?

For example:

"I really really want to sit on this couch, but i have to do my work....AAARG!!! Its so depressing, i just wanted to sit and relax but i just HAVE to go and do some study...WHY WHY WHY is my life going so wrong?!?!"

Tell yourself that, and then you will trick your mind....you still believe that you are a failure, so why don't you "fail" at "not studying" for example? Then, you will still feel like a failure...but you will have a darn good job!

It is called depression. If it continues, see a doctor.

It is not your fault,
it is mine. For within my vault
I keep the lonely times.

Each of us must wrestle our demons,
despite all the well intended sermons
only I can dispel the lonely times.

Joy, sadness, sorrow or fun we share.
In this, I do not spare
The demons, I must strive with alone
when come the lonely times

So, do not grieve nor sorrow
when upon tomorrow
you find yourself alone.
It is only the lonely times.

I have not left, nor you flown.
It is just that alone,
my demons and I,
are in battle joined
and to neither, victory
until I die.
It is just the lonely times.

Do nothing. There is nothing you need to do. All that pressure to 'do' something is coming from outside of you. Stop everything. Your body have everything it needs for living this life. Everything else is imposed on you by society. Drop it all and live.

Why did you do it then? Everything is likely a false perception, somethings may be going wrong, but everything is a pretty big order to fill.

Stop trying.

Sometimes, the best course of action is not to do anything at all. Is there a problem that needed to be solved? Can it wait? Is it critical?

You gave no details.
