Natalie... I thought you already were.......----sheepish grin----

Pamela.. lets agree to disagree... the choice of phrase was using vernacular that the person asking the question could understand. My point was not to express my opinion, but to DISPROVE hers....

Were I wanting to make the case, I would post my own question, and state the parameters germane to the subject, and then let others agree or disagree.. or even add their own nuances. I simply was refuting her argument, not making my own.. Its that simple... :O)..

and Yes.... I am extremely frustrated when every time I come here I have to spend the 1st half-hour appealing "violation" notices I shouldnt have gotten in the first place.

BTW Pamela... I gave you a thumbs up for expressing your opinion in an ADULT manner....which kinda makes my point.... its an ADULT response and not a childish one...

Well, you certainly did not represent me, and you did nothing to support your position. You tell this young girl that not all adults are perverts, and then you choose to use the phrase "getting panties in a wad." Completely inappropriate choice of a phrase.

You lost your credibility right there, and you also came across as bitter and extremely angry.

By the way, I agree with having an Adults-only area. I feel that way every time I attend a party and some idiot parent has brought a child along. Adults do need adult time when we can cut loose a little bit, and parents need to stop exposing their kids to everything.

I'd have to guess that if YA gave us that type of information they'd never be able to sort out a deviated mind from a true fetish mind. I think they have their programs set up to catch people doing certain things for the purpose of profiling. I'm not a genius, but I have always felt like this site pushes it's users into a corner to see how they will react & what they will do in order to get their way! I come & go & I've all but given up on trying to beat or understand this think they call the BOT PROGRAM. If it was a person, I'd like to give it a mainline of a few grams & see what happens. But, it's not & I won't, so none of this really matters in the grand scope of time wasters & panty waists. I got my own wedgies to fix. Ya kno!☺

That was great I totally agree with what you said. right on. I just asked that question about an adult section oh well I guess someone else thought that too LOL. But I didn't mean for it to e place for perverts to post anything there should still be guidelines but if we want to ask questions of an adult matter and don't want kids answering I think there should be one. I don't think you were too hard on the kid. The truth hurts LOL

I just read your rant in the link you provided and all I have to say is BRAVO! Ugh, these immature little minions (not saying that all minors who come in are minions, but there are enough to fill this category) who need to spend more time in school, all they do is not only do they ask the "this rapper is God" or "this actress is so hot" stuff, but they also overload the "Comics and Animation" category with stupid anime questions (as if we give a flip about this crap) or dominate the "Movies" section with stuff above "Spiderman" or "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, and I can't answer those questions really, because I haven't seen those movies yet! It sucks!

I haven't had much of a problem with violations, but I did get one when I tried to put a certain cop-hating troll (who shall remain nameless) in his place, when I told him exactly what I thought of his anti-cop tirades, and cutting and posting "evidence" in the "additional information" section of the question. He does this for every single question he asks. Luckily, when my answer got reported, I used the "customer care' link to report about this individual's trolling.

There's not much you can do about your question being deleted, except just to say it was unjustifiable. but if your answer gets deleted, and you're sure that the asker is being a troll, scroll down to the "Customer Care" link to report the troll, as well as say that your violation was unjust. I'm sure they'll respond and investigate within a few business days.

Oh, and about the link, I just gave your answer a twelfth "thumbs-up."

I, for one wish that I had a hatfull of 'thumbs' to give You.
We are adults. We share a common bond of maturity through life's experiences. This is all too frequently beyond the realms of comprehension of the young. It is bad enough that We have to vet Our own thoughts, when in Their presence, let alone having the proposition put forward that We can only say what They choose to hear.
To quote Herman Hesse, "Inexperience gives little credence to My song".

Dude, that was righteous.

You summed up all my feelings about the immaturity and stupidity of some of the underage people that ask questions, who have no business being unsupervised on a computer.

I agree, there definately should be a adult only forum.

Yes. You did a very thorough job of explaining the whole situation. The only thing is almost all the real problem makers on Y/A and P&S technically ,by age, qualify as adults.

No you weren't too hard at all. It's good to see someone stand up to these kids on here who have nothing better to do than report people.

Yes, they need a seperate section for adults that the kiddies can't come into.

i do agree with your point, but the kid who asked that question is just going to be "like, whatever...i'm 14 and i know everything!" so, good for you, but don't expect a best answer!
