I'm planning the bridal shower and the guest list will be between 30-37 people. I'm trying to plan a nice one, but not too overboard so it's affordable. What would be a good restaurant to hold the shower at? Preferably in the Bellevue/Redmond/Kirkland area, but I'm open to Seattle and other parts not too far away too. It's going to be in the early-late afternoon so appetizers or a light lunch will be served. I do want people to have their own seats (as some of the family doesn't get along).

Is it a bridal shower or a baby shower??? Read your own question. Both types of showers can be held in someones home or at a restaurant or hall. If you want a restaurant, then start calling around to make reservations and see if there is a private room you can have. Also you can reserve a small conference room at a hotel for a dinner shower. If you just need the place, then check the local Sons of Italy, Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus or any other local hall. It all depends on your budget and what you are looking for. Good luck!

Since I'm not in that area, I can only suggest that you use the
phone book and call some of the nicer hotels and ask if they
have banquet rooms in their restaurants/hotel. Also ask the larger restaurants if they have banquet rooms for reserving for a special occasion such as this. Then compare prices and
see what the deposits' are, or if they want it all up front before
the date you have the shower. Also ask what your options
are for the food you want to serve vs. if you provide this
necessity yourself.

Check out the Sea-tac Marriot. They have banquet rooms and they have a set price on buffets (They will have tables & chairs). If you have it there get the crab chowder...it is the BEST!!
