how do i get the privacy password on my phone?

i got a samsung a couple of months ago and i still don't know what the password is do that i can set privacy on my messages etc, anyone have any idea how to?

Have a look in the handbook and it should tell you the factory default password, usually 12345678, once you find the default password then you can modify it to something you will find harder for other people to guess. Would help if you told the model???
