I am a 36d or dd. I mostley wear cross your heart or 18 hour. They sell them at wal mart. THe come in a box. They can be up to 20 dollars each. But they are worth the money. They keep your boobs nice and perky and are comfertable. But if you want a nice strapless go for victoria secret's Angel secrete embrace. I just bought one a few day's ago for this formal I am going too. They are now having a sale 10 off every bra. So i payed 37 bucks for mine.

comfort
but it depends on your age.
I'm 20 and I go for the comfort and looks. I'm not about to wear a bra my grandmother or mother would wear.
But I also don't shop in the teen section because my boobs are too big and those give no support and the wire pops out in a week.
Lately I've been liking the Playtex ones that have no underwire but are still a little padded and cute. from Wal mart.
also know that going without a bra can help to keep you perky but it can look trashy too so be careful which tops you go braless in! It all depends on age...it's not acceptable for a 25 year old mother to go braless and it's not acceptable for a 15 year old to go braless at school because it brings unneccessary attention.

always go for comfort. Wearing a bra just for looks can you leave you hurting by the end of the night.
If underwires are causing you a problem, you may just need a different size. They should be at least as comfortable as a non-underwire. Go for a fitting, at VS if you have one near you, and tell them about the discomfort you've had in the past. They will find an underwire that fits you perfectly, and then you'll never look back.

You should always go for comfort, but at your size you really should be wearing a bra. There are many styles of supportive bras out there that are not underwires if you are truly opposed to wearing one of them.
A lot of lingere and department stores offer bra fittings. I would suggest you have one because if the bras you are trying on are itchy and/or uncomfortable you are probabaly not trying the right size.

Try stick with the under wire, it will do you favours longer term.
A girl should only have 2 types of underwear, supportive or sexy. So get both, but alter for whenever the occasion calls

if you shop at the right store, you can get both. ask the sales lady to fit you. you'll have to pay more, but when you're a bit older, you'll be glad you did. gravity sucks!
