From being the force behind Scooter Libby's involvement in the PLAME outing to criminal involvement in the politicizing of the Justice department, I think little by little the evidence is accumulating that would justify his removal from office.
Once that happens Bush would be truely irrelevant. The GOP should never have lost the gavel during the Mid Term elections of '06. It is costing them dearly. Cheney has to be the one directing the course of the Bush Administration. We know the " decider " can't manage this on his own. He lacks the mental and intellectual capacity.

Susi: this " hate rhetoric" will go on until they leave or are removed from office. Its the patriotic thing to do. Hopefully you are used to it by now.

Best suggestion I have heard yet. Spiro Agnew was taken out first and that left Nixon's agendas exposed. Bush would be left standing naked with nobody to hold his hand.

It wouldn't save any money. Impeachment requires investigations, hearings and a trial. Plus, you'd need to find crimes, first. Not liking foreign policy decisions is not enough.

It would not be worth the time taken away from important business of the country. Plus, in order to keep out a vice president the Senate would have to refuse to confirm any nominees and that would just create more sound bytes for the cons. So as much as I think potentially criminal conduct should be investigated, indicted, and taken to trial, I think we're better off to just hunker down and for Congress to do everything in its power to constrain this administration from waging any new wars.
EDIT: Wow, someone answered this question by enumerating Clinton's messups. Almost eight years and the right is still trying to defend their failures by attacking Clinton.

Actually the more they mess up the better for the Democrats in the election next year. So I wouldn't waste the time impeaching either one of them.

Getting rid of Darth Maul (Cheney) would lead to the appointment of Darth Vader (someone even worse).

Why not impeach both? If Bush and Cheney have committed "high crimes and misdemeanors," which shouldn't be hard to prove, they should both go.

The only way they could possibly be impeached, is if they're caught doing "dirty" things in the Oval Office,
You know how the Republicans view that as a threat to our Nation??
