Yes,I blocked 31 profiles.I deliberately say profiles and not people. This are maybe a group of five, six users but they all have several profiles I happen to be aware of.
Update 35 now

I have only blocked a couple of peoples multiple troll accounts. The troll profiles really don't matter though since they have been created by the same person. The language is the same on all of the answers and questions, that I don't need to hear 30 times to a answer as spam. Oh, like the answers to this above, they remind me of Memorex.

I haven't used it as yet, but I see it as a good idea.
From what I read, Yahoo intents to tract those people who get blocked to determine it they are trolls. I don't know about you, But I'm pretty tired of some of the trolls on this board.
I can think of a hand full of users who popped into this board in the past who I would have liked to block. One that comes to mind was the guy who used the avatar of the two men having sex. If an idiot like that discovered blank screens whenever he logged on, perhaps he'd quit showing up.

I blocked one person who sent me a threatening email!

I have just found myself blocked by someone, for no other reason except that I am a liberal and this person is a conservative. I have never emailed this person, never stalked this person, never trolled this person, never cloned this person, and I don't think I have ever answered more than maybe one or two of his/her questions.

I have actually never stalked, or cloned, or trolled, or harassed anyone!

I just want to warn everybody, that there are some who will abuse this block feature. I knew this would happen. *sm*

I blocked a supposed man-boy-animal advocate, and he's already deleted. Answers Team has said they will delete people who have a lot of blocks, so if I use it again, it will only be for the most foul of posters.

I haven't blocked anyone. Sense the libs on here have had me suspended 14 times now (and two of those times I didn't type one single word) I don't think this ID will be here long enough to bother.

I will not ever block anyone, regardless of how I feel about their thoughts. I am an American, and I don't like censorship. If I don't like what someone has to say, I can ignore them.

Me, EIGHT Trolls and counting.

Free Speech doesnt mean I cant turn the channel (or block someone) to get away from those whose opinions make me sick to my stomach.

Blocking is the best current way to ignore moronic trolls who come here not to legitimately learn new things, but just to score points on the opposition. It's a cheap way to get attention, you see the same underage imbeciles in chat rooms, deliberately trying to start flames and fights.

This is not a debate forum or a flame forum, it is a question and answer forum and the fewer people who treat trolls' obviously unnecessary questions as legitimate (answering them seriiously), the less impetus said trolls have to continue asking their rude, ignorant, inflammatory pseudo-questions.

IN other words, the more people who ignore the morons, the fewer morons we'll have cluttering up the forum with useless natter.

Ooops make that NINE.

I have not used it, and most probably never will. I don't have a need. I believe in freedom of speech, regardless of whether I like what someone else has to say. I also have the option of deleting emails I don't want to read. I have a choice to not be harassed. I think I'll use that option instead of forcing someone else to be unable to contact me.

I've only blocked two of the trolls who tend to really annoy me and leave nasty messages on my 360 page. I doubt if I'll use it much at all though.
