I was a Girl Scout as a child and a Girl Scout Leader for 10 years as an adult

Yes, I was a Girl Scout for two years (In 7th and 8th grade).

Unfortunately.
The good side was that the girl scouts were like a big family. The bad side was that they tried to brainwash all kids with their religious beliefs.
I guess that there are girlscouts that are not linked to churches though, that might be a better choice.

Yes i was..hated the uniform coz i was too dark and my skintone clashed big time with the color, hated the pins and the scarf too, hated the pledges.
Obviously i had a dramatic period being a Girl Scout.

yes, in grade 7-8. quitted and joined and joined the air acadets. dropped out of it because the officiers are so unreasonably harsh.
girl scout was fun!!

I was in a mix boy/girl scout groups when I was a kid.
Today...I can't stand camping....lol

i became a girl scout in first grade and i still am one
i'm going to be a senior in high school next year. it'll be my 12th year in school and 12th year as a girl scout.
people tease us cuz we're still in it but hey, when we sell the cookies at school, we somehow become very popular.

i got to be a brownie for a few months and then we moved..there were no scout troops in the new town...when i was older, my mom started a troop for my little sisters and their friends and i helped out, but it wasn't the same.
