This is why shack ups are bad.Most people fall in "lust" think "love at first sight, instant perfect relationship, but he has been hurt so lets play "pretend married" so he will see what good wife material I am", also "After all everyone deserves a chance and I'm just the ont to give him one, a little of my special brand of TLC and he will turn from down on his luck and being misunderstood to prince charming!"
However when you shack up without knowing a person , you get to fly by the seat of your pants and discover that sex doesnt change a person into what you want them to be.You can know ENOUGH about a person to know if theyd be a good spouse. How? First if he has no job no car no place to live ,on drugs, drinking problem, then moving him in with you is the height of stupidity. You wait until he has worked and lived on his own for a yr or more.This way you will know he is a responsible adult. There are homeless shelters if he is homeless, and if he wants to get out of it, he will work and get out of it.
