People in general are, by definition average. The average person does not get a second chance from me. Only the exceptional may be found worthy.
Alas, it does not occur frequently.

you have to be able to take the good with the bad. for everytime you get burned there is still the possibility that someone else out there isnt gonna do the same thing to you.
i have never been the one who burns people, just the one who gets burned and i have never been given a 2nd chance either.
i always try not to hold what someone else has done against a different individual. it isnt always easy and makes people put up walls but if someoen new is willing to break down those walls to get to know me better tha it shows they care and i give them a chane.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt however it is not always returned that way.

I usually do ! But then again it depends what that person
has done ! I'm a very emotional person, and my heart
has been stepped on, once too many times !
So, I now find it very hard to give my heart that easily anymore.
But rest assured, that there are many people that I would
take the shirt off my back for and do whatever it takes to
help them, once they have earned that trust.

yes, all the time, more than a second chance. In general, as long as it doesnt hurt me (ie. violence, betrayal, cheating, stealing etc), they can have as many chances as they want. But if they've hurt me, you know, i'll still give them a second chance but i'll be so careful and prepare to kick them out of my life.
