Yes, Elvis did a dump-truck load of drugs, but recent insights have indicated that it was simply a heart-attack due to his over enlarged heart, which was always a problem for him.

Elvis' personal physician was suspended from practicing when the investigation discovered that in the first eight months of 1977 alone, he had written 199 prescriptions totalling more than 10,000 doses of sedatives, amphetamines and narcotics: all in Elvis's name. About 10 years ago the dude was permanently suspended after the courts found that he had improperly dispensed drugs to a number of his patients.

It was also about 10 years ago that a coroner doing further autopsy into the death of Elvis declared there was nothing in any of the data that supported a death from drugs. He said Elvis died from a sudden, violent heart attack.

Elvis died on August 16, 1977 in the bathroom at Graceland. After being found on the bathroom floor, Elvis was rushed to the hospital where he was officially pronounced dead. The coroner recorded the cause of death as cardiac arrhythmia. While true in the strictest sense (cardiac arrhythmia basically means that the heart was beating irregularly and in this case, finally stopped), the attending physicians deliberately omitted the fact that what had apparently caused Elvis' heart to beat irregularly and then stop was an overdose of prescription drugs. These drugs included codeine, Valium, morphine, and Demorol, to name a few. After this information was revealed, Vernon Presley, Elvis' father, had the complete autopsy report sealed. It will remain sealed until 2027, fifty years after Elvis' death.

Yes Elvis died in the bathroom. Some people say he died trying to use it, but that's not true! People just made a damn joke just because he was in the bathroom, but really he probably just about to go to the bathroom but all of a sudden he just had a heart attack and just fell to the floor. It's definitely because of the drug abuse which that can cause heart problems. He died on August 16 1977 I believe

For 38 years, I, too, believed that Elvis was dead. Then I saw this 1992 tv video with Bill Bixby. See for yourselves! He was posing as Johnny Harra, a famous impersonator, but it's Elvis himself, at age 57.....very much alive!! 😁😁😁❤❤❤
