Again, you einsteins didnt understand my question or are thick headed. I didnt ask whether you thought it was perfect or not. I asked what you thought was wrong with it. Adamska also i didnt ask about the economic condition of teh country , cause as we all know syria has ruined much of lebanons economy in the last 15 years .

yu want socially and culturally.... let me pull up my sleeves and write you what I see wrong that need to be changed...

Caution: I'm not going to list everything that there is...

In Lebanon, there are all kinds of families, and I'm not going to refer to what you saw when you were here..

Yes.. there are girls who are so shallow and following the trend and all they care about is.. "oh, is my mascara perfect! " and " oh is my string alright? does it amtch my socks or does show my behind sexy.." and "oops is tuna chicken from the sea..." yes there are girls like that and it pisses anyone off...

But what's also annoying is that there's the uptight families... yes.. very conservative families who barely let their daughters do what's normal, whether from just hanging out with a group of friends... just because 'there's a guy in the group'... - or when it comes to going to a party or just a gathering.. the parents wouldnt agree cause the girl is going somewhere strange... those families mostly have issues about trusting people....

also socially... there is the side where the woman or the guy too wants to know ppl from his own level... whether educational level or same financial level... if the girl isn't rich... the guy has to pay for everything! and if the guy isn't educated enough or have masters.. the girl isn't satisfied...

the clothes.. Don't look at my answer like that.. cause it's true... it's a social factor.. there are women covering themselves from head to toe... not showing an inch... and there are girls who are barely wearing anything... and what they're wearing...!!! it cost them over 100 $.. yes.. that piece of thing they're wearing... it cost them 100$ or more...

which gets me to a point... what happened to a jeans and a shirt!! what happened to summer dresses who don't necessarily need to show the back, the thighs or the cleavage.. and the pants that women wear that shows the cleavage.. the back cleavage... I have nothing to do with the pants... but why on earth are they wearing a top that's a baby-size!!!

Culturally!! I can only think of the educational system... there has to be some consultant that tells high school students which major they'd be best in and which is needed in the work field.. instead of graduating (hundreds or thousands yearly) and not finding a job in their own country... yet when they travel they decide to settle outside of Lebanon... Why?! simply because of what's happening politically.. but you don't want us to talk about politics...

Not numerical order.. but that's what i can think of...

I'm Lebanese and I'm proud of it... and yes.. my country isn't perfect.. and yes.. many ppl will be jumping on me now cause of my answer... I'm answering from what i see... biased to my own ideas... so whoever is going to be mad cause of my answer.... simply.. ignore me.. it's just an opinion... and it won't change a thing..

Human being are flawed, period. There is not one person, or group of persons who are even collectively even close to being perfect. Unless you are going to win the Nobel Peace Prize for rebuilding the economy of Lebanon, this is really a moot point. Enjoy your day.

I dont need to list them in numerical order..
I already replied this question without known that you would post it..so....I'll copy and paste what i replied to you in a question posted by Shrinking Violet.

I'll add only one thing before to paste my reply.
How can you talk about "lebanese arrogance" when you yourself are being so much arrogant saying ..."We all know that you feel lebanon is perfect"" How do you know what i think??? That's arrogance dear !!!!
BTW...to treat despectivelly as "einsteins", to pple that you dont know, and you have not idea about the IQ,....isnt that to be ARROGANT ??????

Virgin....I dont know where you are living, and to be sincere I dont care where you are, but what I can say, since my self experience, is that none of us find that Lebanon is a "perfect" country.
Nothing further from our thoughts!!!
I dont live in Lebanon, and each time I go there, is so sad for me, to realize what some pple is doing to it.
Lebanon is a great country.....as many other ones all around the world. Has good things and bad ones,... as any other. Has good pple and bad pple.....as any other, has a bright side and a dark side...as many other. But has a difference with many other also... That little country is a surviver, since the earliest ages, another nations tried to conquer it, and none of them has been able to do it till now. The recent story showed us that the 2 countries around it, want the lebanese land. For different reasons....but they want it.
People in Lebanon live today, bcoz they dont know what will happen tomorrow. You and me, are lucky (lucky??) living in calm and pacific countries, but...are we happier than the pple in Lebanon.???? I dont think so. They face lot of problems...the corruption is so much in the politic levels, their army is not as much strong as it would have to be..prices go up everydays, but in spite of all that...they fight for surviving.
I want to tell you that I go to Lebanon as often as my duties allow it to me, but each time i leave that country.....I feel as a piece of my heart stays there. I feel so much sorrow of you...you are lebanese but said that lebanese pple dont let you be proud of your nationality.. That is up to you. ..and is a pity you say something like that. It is easy to talk when one lives in another country without problems. I admire part of the pple in Lebanon.......not all are arrogants.....not all are "nuveau riches" treating their foreingns maids as some of them do...not all are living for outside. Most of the pple there is "normal". You only saw what you wanted to see. You didnt care going to the villages and talking with the pple as I did. That is the real Lebanon !!!
Finally Virgin, I want to tell you, that I'm not lebanese by birth..I hadnt the happiness to born there, but I feel so much proud of my lebanese heritage,,,,,,,,and for sure, that I'm much more lebanese than many living in Lebanon. I love that country and their pple.
Instead to critizise, we have to join and work together to keep our country free and to keep the pride to be lebanese for our sons.

Salam
