I was travelling on the last Train to Clarksville. I'd missed the earlier one and thought 'This Doesn't Seem to Be My Day' when I started to doze off. I was in that half awake/half asleep stage when a beautiful young lady entered the carriage. 'Wow', I thought, 'Is this real or am I just a Daydream Believer?'
She smiled at me and as I awoke said 'You know, if I were a man I'd want to look just like you. Well perhaps 'A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You.'
'Maybe.' I replied, 'As long as you didn't treat me like a Cuddly Toy.'
'No, perhaps not, but I'd like to make use of you.' She smiled.
'OK.' I said, 'Just as long as you don't take advantage, after all I'm Not Your Stepping Stone, am I?'

Once more, for my Daydream Believer. I wake, one morning. Not really worse for wear. This just doesn't seem like my day. We had been through one of our fights. And this one wasn't for any reason. I finally figured out that I was not longer her cuddly toy. I had told her, "I'm not your Steppin' stone". And I told her it was, "A Little bit me. A Little bit you". And we agreed to end it.
..So I headed out with out plans in hand. Just soon say I was on the Last Train to Clarksville. And I took my life to where happiness was in more abundance.

This just doesn't seem to be my day. I took the last train to Clarksville looking for my cuddly toy but I can't seem to find it. I know that the cuddly toy has a little bit me and a little bit you and that's the reason why I determine to find it. I also know I'm a daydream believer but I want to let you know that I'm not your stepping stone and the cuddly toy is the last thing that reminds me of you. Good bye my love.

This just doesn't seem to be my day. First I was sitting on the last train to Clarksville when I was sitting next to this cute little cuddle toy and her daydream believer. So I was checkin her out and finally when he left I said, " hey how about a little bit of me and a little bit of you go sneak on out of here." When sudddenly she gets this disgusetd look on her face and says "um... I'm not your steppin' stone. Get lost!" Man... Just doesn't seem to be my day.
