I think they're both exceptionally good actors. I get tired of them being talked about only for their looks, as they both have the talent to back them up. It's a tough call, but I think Johnny is a bit more versatile than Brad. I don't see Brad doing comedy as well as Johnny. I think Depp is more of a "method actor" and he chooses excellent roles almost every time. Pitt has chosen some fairly bad movies, not many, but has stood out in them. I guess I'd go with Depp--he seems to be able to do anything.

Although both are great actors I believe the roles that Johnny Depp has played have been more diverse and challenged him more than the ones Brad Pitt has done.
Pitts characters seem to be very 'samey', therefore I vote Johnny Depp as being the better of the two.

Johnny Depp, because I like the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I also like every other movie he has starred in. He is much more talented.
