How exactly do I win friends and influence people? All answers are greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Well for me I think it's just a matter of just being myself ... I try and treat people like I would want to be treated most of all. If someone needs help with something and I can .. I'll try and give'em a hand. I don't really see me as the influencing people type ... but maybe I do and don't see it.

By posting good answers on Yahoo, you are in effect doing so. You can win friends and influence people by being the best person that you can be; by being a friend in need.

A very cliche, but nevertheless very true statement:
The best way to get (good) friends is to be one.
In essence -
Respect people and their beliefs.
Do not be afraid to talk about differences, or be afraid to disagree. People will know when you act differently than you really are.
Be yourself. (You`d be amazed how many people use 'masks' to the outside world)

just be polite, friendly. Don't try to argue your opinion, put it over in a way that's not too intense.
actions are louder than words.
