I am 8 months pregnant, and in just the past few days I've noticed my pee is brown. I know the amniotic fluid will be deminishing soon, could this be it? I drink loads of cranberry juice and i've started drinking more water again.

This isn't normal. Brown/amber colored urine can be a sign of dehydration or other more complicated medical problems. You should go in to be checked or at least call the OB dept at your hospital to see wjat they think you should do.

GO TO A DOCTOR! Brown urine is never normal! It could be tinged with blood, which means an infection, which is also a very bad thing at 8 months pregnant. The amniotic fluid does not come out like urine. If you are leaking fluid, and it's brown, you again, need to go to a doctor. Do not wait!!!! Good luck and I wish you the best...

The Atomic fluid should be clear I was told.. And if it's anything other then clear then it could be a sign of infection. Maybe you should talk to your doctor just incase. Although it might be some blood, so talking to your doctor would be best.

That is not normal at all, at any time. It is a sign of a long standing serious infection. It takes a bad infection before your urine turns brown.

Get to a doctor and get it tested for infection.

NO! This is not normal. I would say it might be from the dyes in cranberry juice. Even natural dye. I would lay off cranberry juice and try plain water. I would also call my ob/gyn.
