I'm not for him. There is something about him, to me, that speaks of anger. He got miffed when Joe Biden made an innocent statement. He took it as a racial inuendo. He also got mad at the PM of Australia. C'mon!
I can't imagine the United States of America with a President Barak Obama.
He is too young, too inexperienced, too hot under the collar, too much for the Blacks interests instead of for America's per se.
He is not going to win even the nomination, but he has the right to try.

I like him and see him as a " fresh " face
1)During his seven years in the Illinois state Senate, Obama worked with both Democrats and Republicans to help working families get ahead by creating programs like the state Earned Income Tax Credit, which in three years provided over $100 million in tax cuts to families across the state. YES HELPED TO PRODUCE OVER $100 MILLION IN TAX CUTS IN 3 YEARS IN IL This alone goes against the grain of the typical " tax and spend liberal " label Republicans like to use. Obama also pushed through an expansion of early childhood education, and after a number of inmates on death row were found innocent, Senator Obama enlisted the support of law enforcement officials to draft legislation requiring the videotaping of interrogations and confessions in all capital cases, a move that protects the state from unwarranted lawsuits, and also protects law enforcement .
2) He was urged to run by his constituents and IL state legislative colleagues such as Illinois State Comptroller Dan Hynes
3)I am also tired of all the so called "experienced" ones that have touted their track record. If they were so experienced, they all should have had the balls to stand up and say no when Bush decided to take us to war in Iraq when that country had nothing to do with the attack on this country. Barack Obama has supported the war in Afghanistan but has from the very start said that invading Iraq would be a mistake
4) Since he has been in the Senate, he has not sat on his laurels. He has been bipartisan and has sponsored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427 with Senators from across the aisle
I just think the country needs a new direction and we don't need clones of the same people we had around since the 1980's Bush/ Clinton/Bush/ Clinton?Bush clone wannabes. I think not

I think he is a bright and articulate young Senator, but not experienced enough yet for the White House. May wind up as a VP nominee, but hopefully not with Hillary Clinton. We need an experienced, tested and strong leader- we need John McCain with Rudy as his VP.

As prejudiced as this sounds, I wouldn't trust any minority President in America. Why? Because you never know how much pent-up anger they have against white America. Exactly how much will they push for their minority group? Will they try to stir their people up against the rest of us? Exactly how much time will they spend on America's REAL issues?

There are simply too many questions. I believe that white Presidents are the safest way to go in America.

I'm largely indifferent to him. He's the only one of the dems that has any sort of pure motive (the rest just want power and have no real appreciation for what it means to be president). ON the other hand his ideas are bad, his experience is low, and he's only a legislator which history shows makes a bad president.

Dont love or hate him but wont vote for him. I strongly disagree with him on his views on the illegals. Some the other issues are harder to know just where he does stand. He says what his audience wants to hear.

I think he is the best thing for the GOP.

He fakes accents depending on who he is talking to at the time.
Never has face any really tough questions.
Voted against the funds for the troops than ran to Chicago to explain it to his base.
On the flip side Hillary went to the vets and told them why she didn't vote for the funds.
Obama has so many skeletons about to come out of the closet that the Chicago can't contain when he really goes national.

Look at what happen to the last liberal senator that ran against a conservative.
The MAJORITY of voters voted against him.

He's a poser politician just like the rest of them--no better, no worse. What this country needs is...never mind, nobody really cares anyway.

I hate no one except maybe the Clintoon whore. Osama does not have the experience to lead. Edwards is a puppet for the left. I guess that leaves the best candidate. Fred Thompson....
