That’s what my sister claims is the cause of her being late to work today? Is stomping on a palmetto bug a valid way to twist your knee? How the heck hard do you think she stomped? And exactly where does twisting come in?

i'm not saying it did or did not happen, but think about it.....haven't you ever stepped on a bug only to have it scamper away when you lifted your foot? i sure have. now when i step on them i give my foot a twist. so i can see how your sister could have twisted her knee. it must have been one h**l of a twist though.

Well, you do get some big azz bugs down there. I could have easily twisted my knee trying to kill one. When I get it under my shoe I have to twist my foot back and forth five or six times to make sure he's good and dead.

How much force does it take to kill or stump on a roach? I lived in an island and we are pros at killing or stumping bugs dead with our shoes. and yes we washed the bottom of our shoes. My mom gets the award at the most bugs dead at the her ripe age and she never did anything like that. She probable did not know that is takes little strength to kill a bug.

yeah it could happen

i would have just put it under a container, which reduces the amount of air, but her knee could've turned slightly while in the air and then with the presure from what she put on the roach then that could have made a big impact

You can twist your knee doing the jig stomp trying to catch the little sucker.

I've never heard of this happening, but then maybe she slipped a little bit on said roach... I guess anything is possible.

no, you should never stomp a roach because it spreads their eggs. if you do it barefoot, maybe you'd have eggs in your bed or something. ew!

Okay....I admit, the things are HUGE!!!! Maybe she was chasing it around and when the opportunity struck...she had to take it despite the fact that it was in a corner or something....those things gross me out.
