Highschool awards night. I was in R.O.T.C. and assigned as stage escort award recipients. To my astonishment; I was presented an award. It was a trick by my instructors. They had asked me to volunteer for such duty. This happened twice. My junior year that night and my sophomore year winning outstanding cadet. When you never see it coming; that is when they see how you really are. The look on my face and the applause was just too overwhelming. I am never accustomed to being center stage. I like the background better. Such accolades made me uncomfortable; but I will never forget it. It only reminded me that others respected what you have achieved. I wish other people would experience that feeling as often as possible.
Be it awards, a hug , a kiss, a poem, a song, and anything sentimental; a person needs reminding of what they have achieved or what they mean to others.

Some faces are evil smiles. Like the murderers who are being led away by police with a crazy smile on their face. that is not beautiful. It is good to smile even if it is fake because a fake smile can lead to a real smile. Try it yourself start doing a fake laugh until you work up a real laugh. there are laughing clubs that meet every day and they start laughing together part of it is fake and it turns real. It is good to smile at people even if it is fake because it is a kind gesture that they cared enough in the midst of their day which may not be a very easy day and they tried to show kindness toward others.

The night before I was leaving to go to Alaska, I was tweezing my eyebrows. I must have been nervous about the trip 'cause I over tweezed one eye and then in a moment of temporary insanity, I decided that shaving them off completely was the solution. Not my finest hour, but hilarious. You should have seen people's faces when they saw me......PRICELESS!

My boyfriend telling me it didn't matter how I looked. He loves me for who I am not how I look. It was such a change from my personal experience, where men are attracted to you for how you look not how you think. I smile everytime I think "It's my mind that turns him on, not my body." Afterall, my mind is way more flexible and creative and ever changing while my body is more stagnant and less flexible in it's ability to change. Especially since I don't have thousands of dollars for plastic surgery. I love him so much! Every woman deserves a man like him.
