we don't need them, some choose to use them. I only use mascara, otherwise I go natural. I think this is just fine, and if someone doesn't like it they don't have to look at me. (my theory)

Hmmm, I am not a makeup wearing person, I was reminded today that I have great skin. The only "makeup" I use would be cherry / strawberry flavoured lipgloss by Yardley. I am just plain lazy. The only thing I do for myself is the Clinique 3 step process and that is a pain in itself! I am an all natural woman.

Of course we do. There's just more pressure in the media/society/culture for women to paint their faces and men to lift weights and be macho. Both genders have respective roles they get pushed into. But there are male cooks and female scientists. Civilization is evolving. Why can't we?

Just a note: men also wear eyeliner, mascara, concealer, sometimes lipstick, etc. And anyone who works on a stage is required to wear these things.

Women don't NEED them. They just think they do.

I'm an old fashioned caveman as far as makeup and all the other plastering tools are concerned.
For myself it's soap/ shampoo/ conditioner/after shave.
I even shave dry, no foam for me.
For women I actually apply the less is more theory.
No make up is fine, a little bit well applied is O.K. too.
I hate it when its shoveled and troweled on, Plasterers ! yuk
Pet peeve is man and women putting on enormous splashes
of After shave or Perfume.
I find that distasteful and consider it chemical warfare.
Riding an elevator with people like that makes me wish I took
the stairs.

Actually, men prefer only a little makeup, to it being caked on. I think that we look great natural, but men have different instincts and are less worried about their appearance than women are.

You don't need those things. You do look good natural.

In fact, most men prefer women to wear little or no make-up. Women wear it not for men, but for other women. Like so much of what they do, it's all about showing up their competition (or those they think are).

As for beverages, i don't grasp out in bars; yet as quickly as I run as much as 7-eleven for a soda, i will %. up a Slurpee in case you question me to. in case you decide on a experience residing house on the grounds which you're motor vehicle's on the fritz, i'm your guy. None of this expenses me plenty, and its cost is MY self admire: that is noted as being polite. Take a sprint, George.

I don't think we neccesarily need them, alot of women just use it because it makes them feel feminine and it makes them feel pretty. I prefer the natural look, just a little lip gloss and you're good to go=]

I guess they are used to define beautiful features and cover flaws. Women are supposed to look great at all times. Men, they couldn't care less. Cologne, shave, and they're done.
