A while ago her sister, her sister's husband, and her father came round when she was in shower. She came out in dressing gown, and in front of them "adjusted" her gown. You know where you move one part over the other. Anyways, she didn't expose much, but still, it can't be natural to do that in front of people! She said she didn't realise she did it and I don't think anyone saw, but a) how do you know realise you just exposed yourself to people, and b) why didn't she set herself properly in the bathroom, like most normal people would?? I'd be convinced she did it deliberately if it wasnt for the fact her sister and dad were there also.

Anyways, there has been a few other times when she has walked naked in front of windows and when I tell her that people might be able to see she says "Oh I didn't realise" but how do you not realise that you are naked if other people could see you?? She says she's self-conscious about her body, and yet she doesnt notice she's parading it to the world!

My ex husband was just like you - cover this up, don't go out without a cardigan, don't stand too close to the window while you get dressed!! Hell, anyone would think there was a peeping tom round every corner. I have always felt comfortable going naked around the house, and going out with shorts and vests, but he started to make me feel dirty. He used to say that he would like me dressed like a muslim with everything covered up except my eyes - what a creep. He was a deeply jelous and insecure man, and I'm glad to say that he has gone and now I can sunbathe topless in the back garden if I want - it is surrounded by bushes and trees and no-one can see me; only perhaps helicoptors going over, but good luck to them I say. So you should be grateful that you have a confident woman as your wife - you are probably stingy in the bedroom department too and you could be having a really good time with such a warm and sexy lady.

I think you are being a little uptight. It's just a body, it's not like she is standing infront of the window jiggling her bits is it?

I'm very comfortable with my family and I wouldn't think twice about adjusting my robe or walking around in a towle in front of them. As for the naked in front of the wondow anyone on the Eurostar or thameslink gets a glimpse of me if they pass my flat at the right time - I'm not being an exhibitionist I just don't care. I wouldn't want anyone watching me close up but I'm not gonig to to faff around closing curtains etc whenever I want to change/take a shower.

She was probably just not thinking at the time. Sometimes when people see their parents in situations like that they instantly feel comfortable doing things like that. She may have been like "oops!" silently later on after that or just didn't notice at all. My advice would be to tell her that it kinda freaked you out because her sisters husband was there. If it happens a lot, or fairly frequently ask her to be more cautious as to what she's doing when it comes to exposing herself. Also, you can find out if she likes it, throw her a flash sometime or something. maybe even in public! Perhaps she'll start doing it with you and start having some fun for awhile with it. I hope it's nothing underminded she's doing, but with women you can just never tell.

Man, you just need to calm down. At least she's not cheating on you or walking around the front lawn in a string bikini. If that's all she does to make you upset cause maybe someone could see her then you seem to have a pretty good marriage....Tint your windows and let it go. Let her know that you think it's very rare that a woman of our culture can even attempt to let anyone see her naked body.

I know I'm not a woman but . . . .

It seems to me that there are 2 options:

Option 1: She is very comfortable and not concerned with being naked. Being seen is not very worrisome to her. She really IS being honest. You might figure this out by bringing up conversations about nude beaches - and seeing her reaction.

Option 2: She is lying and she is getting her jollies from this. Interesting . . . if true. After doing things like this is she disappearing to masterbate? Is she wet (I bet that'd be a fun experiment for you to do!)? Does she like to have the windows open when you have sex? Try it at a hotel . . . open the shades and see if she closes them when you initiate sex.

I know you don't want to hear it, but . . . I am awfully jealous.

I dont' think you have a real problem here. I think what your are seeing is that different families have different "dress codes." (LOL!) My wife wears her nightgown (not a sexy one but still....) in front of my parents and even her brother. No way she's a voyeur! (Actually the correct term would be "exhibitionist.") I'll admit I wasn't crazy about her doing that, but it's not really a problem. As for the window deal, she was likely just spaced out and it didn't even occur to her. Don't sweat any of this. Now to add a twist of irony. I'm sitting here in my family room typing this in my underwear. LOL!

She is not a voyeur. A voyeur is a person who watches somebody else, like a peeping Tom.What your wife is more likely to be is an exhibitionist. These are people ,either individuals or in groups who engage in flashing or performing sexual acts where they may be seen by members of the public.Having sex in the open,or dogging as it is called is another version of exhibitionism. Some people get a sexual thrill over exposing themselves.

"voyeur" means to watch.
"exhibitionist" means to show others.

Did she come from a large family? Sometimes, as in my case, large families have more relaxed views about privacy because there simply isn't any. Large families are also used to getting out of the bathroom quickly to let someone else in, and it could just be an old habit.

Exhibitionist I think is more what you were meaning as a voyeur is the one watching.

Personally I think you are over reacting as if you can't be comfortable in your own home then there ain't a great deal of future for any of us.

She doesn't realize what she is doing it? sounds like a cop out to me, Who in their right mind would walk naked in front of a window? Not me. She is definitely a voyeur.
