Nope, my family doesn't hug either. We don't flinch if a hug happens, but it's a rare occurance.

I come from a very hugging family. Maybe the Italian heritage. Always a hug and a kiss on the cheek, when greeting and leaving, even between the male members.

My family is affectionate to a point. My parents were not very much into hugging, but I made sure that my sons get and give hugs to people. My husbands family is all about hugs and affection. They have had several family members die tragically so they make sure to let the ones that are alive know they are loved and appreciated.

I grew up in a family where there was NO hugging, and I decided DECADES ago not to put my own children through that, so we hug!
Sorry your family doesn't!
*hugs to Joey* from all of us

OMG! What!!?? Come here Joey *hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug hug* That makes me sad what you said.....*cries*....How is Joey so sweet then?? Someone as sweet as you deserves the mostest love and affection...*wipes tears*.....If Raevan knew Joey you would get many hugs everyday!! My family hugs sometimes but it's mostly started by me, they don't like hugs as much as I do.. I love to cuddle! You just make sure if you have kids you change things..ok!
