I know there are nice restaurants in Vegas, but, I want to spend my money gambling and boozing, not on fine dining. We're going to be staying at the MGM Grand for 3 nights. Additionally, I'm not concerned with ambience, I only want good food close to MGM, and take out is fine. Any suggestions on good places to eat in or around the MGM that are cheap ($5 a meal if possible)?

Are there any any healthy options (or at least healthier options) similar to Chipotle? i.e. Quiznos, Subway, etc?

Cheap Steak Dinners and Prime Rib I think it is in the Barbry coast or near there just around the corner

Just spent a few nights at MGM. They have a food court with Pizza, Nathan Hot Dogs, McDs and a chinese food place. There is also a great 24 hour coffee shop across the street at NY-NY called America. Hooters is also across the street with some inexpensive dining.

Sounds like you're going to be hitting the casino snack bars and McDonalds! There's a Chipotle across the street from the Mirage if you can spring for an $8 meal.

Try Ellis Island Casino which is located behind Bally's. They offer a $4.95 sirloin steak dinner which is outstanding! The steak is cut like a fillet and is yummy. The steak is served with your choice of potato side, fresh (not canned) vegetables and a garden salad. All their dressings are made on the premises. Well worth the walk/ride. Enjoy!
