I recently bought a new computer but it didn't come with a manual. I have no idea how to use many of the features that come with the computer like the dvd burner. any ideas where to find a manual? also it is wireless compatable. I need a cheap router to get wireless at my home..what is a good suggestion? I am not computer sauve...lol

i don't know what computer company sells a computer with a complete how-to manual. In fact, most just come with a guide to hook up and turn on and off your computer. (a large fold up how-to is all i have ever seen come with a new computer) I have talked to several people who have purchased new computers and they didn't receive manuals either.

You can go to this website - http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html?pageDisplay=support
Type in the model # of yor laptop or use the Auto detect feature. This will give you all support options and software updates for your laptop.
As for wireless routers, Wal Mart has 2 for around $40.00, the Belkin and The D-Link. Both can be found on this website:

Please tell us all what computer retailer sells computers without user manuals. In fact, who would purchase a computer that doesn't come with a users manual ???
