I get this view from reading many relationship books and simply watching and listening.

Women who hate all men are chauvinists too, trust me, I've dated a few of them.

The implication that a man would be chauvinistic to be realistic about women makes no sense.
Being realistic is smart, being chauvinistic is putting a slant on that realism and assuming facts not in evidence.
For every beautiful girl who marries a rich man is a rich man buying a woman to keep her a trophy until the next one comes along. That doesn't say much for either of them.
Two people can be realistic and still love each other, warts and all. That's smart.

I'd like to know exactly what you mean about "realistic"?
I DO find it disgusting that women can sit together complaining about their husbands and comparing the little tricks they have to get their men to do what they want etc, but if a man talked like that about his wife he'd be called sexist and chauvinistic. As a woman, I find this reverse prejudice atrocious behaviour.
I think in a way women are trying to get even for the "centuries of oppression" they have suffered. It's just so unenlightened and immature.

Men realistic not equal to chauvinist. The man just keeps his cool about (not) jumping into a relationship, taking his time, and not succumb to his sexual needs.

What do you consider being "realistic" for a man or a woman? Kinda seems that you're using the ol trick of generalizing with no real information to back up what you're saying just to woman-bash. Unless you provide more information, this is just a statement, not a question.

I don't know what you mean, but I've heard many women being realistic about men are called smart asses, bit**es and spoiled, not smart. I've heard men called nothing.

It's tough to be a woman in a man's world.I miss the days when men were men, and women were maids. I mean lets face it... women have the right to vote because a man gave it to them. LMAO

Women try to be perfectionist. Everything has to be for them, about them or something's wrong. They are emotional control freaks. If you're happy they want to know what's wrong. If you're sad they're happiest.

because women can use there looks to get a wonderful life (finding a rich man) without even thinking about what he looks like. men love women and it does nt matter where they are from what they do as long as they look good.
